I am not a SPANZ member, can I attend Conference?
All NZ Secondary Principals are eligible to attend, as well as previous SPANZ members who have since retired/resigned as a principal.
There is a non-member registration component to the form which you can select at time of registration.
For retired/resigned principals who were SPANZ members we invite you to use the SPANZ member registration component.
I'm moving schools - what happens with my membership?
If you are moving from one school to another as principal, you take your membership with you.
Please notify us in the office with your updated contact details so that we can update our records accordingly.
Do I receive 24 hour support with this membership?
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.00pm during school term.

How do I go about becoming a member?
You are welcome to contact the office for a membership form or alternatively fill in the form online under Membership and submit to the office, from here we will forward through an invoice and welcome you to the Association.
How do you become a life member?
Life Membership is an award presented by SPANZ upon a positive vote at the AGM.
Life Members were provided this award based on their outstanding work done for SPANZ and on behalf of their principal peers.
To nominate a principal for Life Membership please forward your nomination to the Executive Manager of SPANZ by 31 January. From here it will be reviewed at an executive meeting and on agreement presented at the following AGM.
Will the Legal Fund cover my representation in court?
There are two areas to the SPANZ Legal Fund, school and personal cover. For detailed information please refer to the Legal tab on the website.
